I found this in todays copy of the Calgary Sun newspaper. I tried to find the online version but didn't have any luck.
The gist of the story is the "absolute booze fest" atmosphere at the Calgary Stampede.
They spoke with a visitor, John McLoughlin, who is here from York England. He commented on how nicely everyone here gets along at the Stampede. He also commented on how friendly everyone is, and how pretty all the ladies are. His closing comment was priceless...
"I probably shouldn't have worn my kilt to the rodeo, then on to the Nashville North (a Stampede grounds country bar), though. I got absolutely groped and abused."

Hehehehe...and to think I stay away from the Stampede because of all the crowds. Perhaps it's time to stroll through the grounds kilted.
