Wow!
Dear Friends,
I received a random act of kindness from a vendor here...well, two, actually.
I won't name any names in case the vendor prefers anonymity BUT...they have earned my continued business.
I went to purchase a leather sporran strap. I was going to pay with a bank transfer...only to be told by my bank that I would be hit with a HUGE fee to wire the funds. As the order had already been sent on to the "processing" phase, due to the way the vendor's site is set up, I was unable to backtrack and change my method of payment...so my sporran strap lingered on and on in oblivion.
Out of nowhere last week, I received an email saying that my sporran strap had been diapatched.
"Surely there must be a mistake here," I thought. I called and emailed the vendor. Nope. No mistake. The vendor, as a gesture of goodwill, sent the sporran strap anyway--free of charge. It arrived in the post just now.
The vendor impressed me yet again. I ordered an umbrella from their store as a gift for a friend. It arrived damaged. I wrote to the vendor. He said tomdispose of it without mailing it back and that he would refund my money, since it would be pointless to send it back broken.
I want to thank that vendor, with all sincerity, for his generosity and kindness. This is some of the best customer service that I have EVER received.
You have earned my continued patronage.
Many thanks,
Bren
