Andrew
I'm glad everything worked out.
We call our newest design the Hikers' Kilt.
It is the same basic kilt design but we've changed and/or added a
couple details.
Our detachable sporran is now located on the side (right or left -
there are D rings on each side) - because our research showed
that long distance hikers we not comfortable with the sporran on
the front.
We've removed the back wallet pocket. Again, our research
revealed that wallets are usually stowed somewhere else on the
trail - not a back pocket. It makes for a much cleaner line - no
pocket flap interuptions.
The Hikers' Kilt closure system is completely different than our
Traditional Style AmeriKilt. We've removed the six snaps on the
upper nd lower apron and widened the lower apron - this allows
complete range of motion with confidence and security. We've
introduced an extra wide, heavy duty hook and loop panel on the
left side of the waistband to affix the top left side of the approns -
you then wrap the top apron to the right side and secure it with a
built-in 1.5in web belt with 2 locking D rings.
Pricing for the Hikers' Kilt will be $115.
So far, we've shown and sold them only at the festivals we attend
and we are getting an excellent response to our efforts
As it is our busiest time of the year I haven't given the website the
attention I should. That will soon change.
Thanks for buying AmeriKilt!
