I drove to a job yesterday, kilted, but changed briefly into shorts just for the job. I'm glad I did.

I was high up a ladder updating honour boards in a High School gymnasium. Below me was a girls choir, practising.
I don't think I could have done that kilted

Today I was at another school. A small lad walks past and boldly asks: "wotcha doing in a kilt?", I was surprised by his openness and could only reply "what are you doing in trousers?".

With a sigh he said "It's not my choice" (school uniform). So I said a kilt WAS my choice. What a nice lad he was.

I met an Indonesian women in the main street, she exlcaimed how nice I looked, I thanked her and reminded her that in her country the men wear a 'sulu', I guess she is more comfortable than most with MUGS.

Glen, I got 70c discount on a cuppa tea today 'cos of the kilt! I'm catching up with you!
