Luckily, no furs, but I currently AM having a pair of leather pants re-finished all the way down one side, as they started to come apart at the seam. Only $12 (Jpn. equiv).
But so far, from what I can see from what people are posting here, I am neither at an advantage nor at a loss getting my clothing altered before I leave Japan or waiting till I arrive in Canada. But I do expect our Wizard of BC may have some business from me in the way of moving kilt buckles. Lol.
