The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have been given a taste of the importance of textiles to the region during a visit to the Borders.
They toured Robert Noble's March Street Mill in Peebles and Johnston's of Elgin's Eastfield Mill in Hawick.
They also visited the School of Textile and Design at Heriot-Watt University in Galashiels.
The prince, who holds the title of Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, is a patron of the Campaign for Wool.
The couple also visited the community allotments at the Peebles mill and the prince was given a tour by pupils from the town's Kingsland primary school.
For those unable to view the link, Prince Charles is shown wearing a mainly blue kilt during his visit to Galashiels, perhaps someone can identify the tartan. The Royals arrived here in Hawick by helicopter - eight minutes behind schedule!
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.
