BTW, BCAC, that bit about young ladies being ridiculed for wearing skirts...utterly head-spinning! A century ago the same accusation was leveled at women who donned trousers!
My daughter finally wore a kilted skirt recently acquired for my wife but found to be too small. She couldn't stop exclaiming how comfortable and cool it was. Been telling her this for years, but she hates dresses.
Just goes to show, you can lead someone to knowledge, but you can't make them think.
