Niles' new Bonnie Heather Greene kilt.
Greetings fellow X Marks rabble. Well, my wife's and my new kilts arrived yesterday from Bonnie Heather Greene. Anxiously awaited, they are beautiful and both fit perfectly.
First I want to say that, Bonnie's work is superb. Both kilts are absolutely perfect; the pinnacle of the kilt makers craft. Not only is Bonnie talented, she is about the nicest person you would ever want to meet. I really appreciated working with her and especially, getting to know her better.
Here is Bonnie and myself with my unfinished kilt at the Graeme Park Celtic Heritage Festival (near Philadelphia) in July.

During the process, she periodically updated me with pictures and a posting on Facebook.

More to come,

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle.
