Greetings from Chile
Hi everyone,
As a new member of the forum, just a brief message to introduce myself. Scots born, raised in Australia, wore the kilt in pipe bands in Australia. And now in Chile, after 30 years away from it, am getting back to playing the pipes and wearing the kilt. As a matter of fact, have plans to buy a kilt (a cheapy at first) to wear when I get married in December. ANd before everyone jumps on me, I am more than aware of the multitude of benefits of a heavyweight, 8 yard kilt, and that will always be my preferred type of kilt, however, they are very expensive anyway, even more so, when you have to convert it in to the local money here. So for the moment at least, there is no other option. Hoping next year to buy my pipes and also a 'good', made to measure kilt.
Cheers
