Daniel, I can see it better in the 'photobucket' picture. Very clever and it looks good. I agree, some of those can look quite costume like or too military. Your's is more subtile and refined and looks more natural with your formal attire. Looks great.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen.
