    Yes if the waistcoat is too long, and/or has long points, the points will interfere with the sporran.

    I just got that waistcoat at an ordinary shop, Macy's I think. I liked the vaguely Victorian look to it. It was on the sale rack for $30 I think. I did change out the buttons to horn. (I don't dress like that normally, I was going for a semi-Edwardian look for Anime Expo.)

    Just last weekend I was poking around in a Macy's and they had quite a few tweed waistcoats with notched collars; it seems to be quite a fashion trend just now. These were from various "famous designers" and were somewhat expensive, in the $80-$100 range, really not so bad. I was really looking for (what else?) Tattersall shirts and none were to be found (several perfect candidates had the ubiquitous buttondown collars... meh).
