    The Horror! Riverkilt Bifurcated!!

So a couple of years ago I honored my great uncle Charles Lewis Scott, a Montana boy who served in France in World War I, by wearing the Scott tartan kilt with a War I jacket, the very medal he was awarded for that service, and a doughboy hat in the local Veteran's Day parade. A couple of months ago I acquired a WWI helmet so I decided to honor uncle Charlie again - this time with the helmet, WWI jacket, and the medal. Since I'd done it kilted before wore tan jeans is a most crude attempt to look authentic.

I'm on the far right carrying the USMC flag. Probably the first time in history anyone's worn Z Coil shoes with a War I kinda sorta uniform. The kit bag was full of candy to toss to the kids along the way - like the ones in the foreground.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
