What Not to Wear Scottish Addition - PC Jacket / Ruche Tie

I randomly came across this recent image of a Scottish wedding that was held at Culcreuch Castle, Stirlingshire. My comment is directed towards the two gentleman to the left of the groom. I apologize if you recognize yourself, but I think the ruche tie and PC jacket combo look terrible. The tie's just splayed out. I think that the jacket could be accessorized with a "standard" tie if you wanted to be adventurous, but I'd say the ruche with its extra-wide base is an aesthetic no-no. It looks as though they're wearing Reb Lobster bibs. Thoughts?
