Norwegian Tartans??
In my "Hey, I'm a Newbie" thread, I mentioned that my strongest family line was Norwegian. Someone brought up the fact that the Sinclairs were closely tied to Norway and I could wear one of their tartans probably. I looked at them and they're really nice looking.
Then I discovered something I didn't expect. There are actually tartans that were being made in Norway. Whodathunk? Some tartans have possible ties to Scottish tartans and some are completely unknown in their origin.
My question is, once you've found some possible tartans, how do you folk go about choosing which you would like to wear? And once you do, how in the heck to you find the fabric?
