New member - St. Andrews Society of Albany NY

I was so excited to get home today and have a letter from the president of the Society welcoming me. I had been invited to attend meetings last year, and after showing up for three, was invited to apply for membership. Members must be males from Scotland and/or prove Scot descent, then go through an election process where one blackball means "sorry." It's been a great week, what with my new Bonnie Heather Greene kilt arriving Thursday.
