Tangerine Kilt
I did it! With lots of help from the forum members, I was able to make my daughter's new dance kilt. Thankfully it was finished just in time for a competition today!

I made lots of mistakes along the way, but for a first attempt, I'm very happy with it. It is a bit small on her. I think I stitched the pleats a bit too small in the hip.
It's quite funny how long it is though. My daughter is very high-waisted, and then adding to that the 2-inch rise...well, it's almost 'Ed Grimley' style on her! Thankfully the vest covers it up, and hopefully she will be able to wear it for several more years!
