The CArryall Sporran - user feedback.

I just wanted to post how pleased I am wtih my new Carryall Sporran.

I have waited a few months before posting this in order to allow me to put it through its paces.

For your information, I have a full mask sporran (useless for carrying anything), a hair sporran acquired from the military, a seal-skin dress sporran and a basic brown leather purse. The Carryall Sporran was an impulse buy since, despite wearing a sporran on a regular basis, I find myself having to squirrel things away in my coattee or vest due to a lack of space and the ad on XMarks seemed to be the solution.

Since acquiring the Carryall Sporran, it has become my "go-to" sporran. Everything fits in easily and it is not a chore to find things once inside. (The Red interior helps, too.) The sporran, belt, clips and fasteners are of such a high quality that I tend to wear the Carryall even when something more dressy would likely be more appropriate. The Carryall easily holds: keys, wallet, phone, pen, business cards, reading glasses and change purse, all of which I tend to use when out of the house for any length of time. This would have been an ideal first sporran since it has proven to be good value for money, can be worn in both formal and informal settings, and is darn practical. It is now the measure by which I compare alternatives.

As a member of a Reserve highland unit in a very Scottish area of Eastern Ontario and also a Freemason in a Scottish lodge, I tend to be kilted a couple of times a week for formal events, in addition to being kilted when out and about. Having practical clothing available as opposed to being "costumed" is therefore important. This sporran fits the bill.

In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase. I can't recommend this product highly enough. I'll likely be looking for a brown one next year.
