I don't dress up I never were my jacket or fancy shoes or tie any of that stuff I got with my kilt. I just put the kilt hose sporran and flashes on and go out just like every day. Im really love my kilt and this week had it on when I went out more then me breaks.
I'm just up the road in Matlock, Derbyshire and also wear a kilt out and about casually, currently kilted every day, no issues, few comments and no negatives. Last time I was in Scotland, wore my kilt the whole time, same story. I trust it will be the same when I visit again at the end of this month.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
