    Auction for A framed fragment of Prince Charles Edward Stuart's tartan

    This fragment of the so-called Moyhall Plaid is going up the hammer on Weds. The guide price is probably pretty accuate. Regrettably it's beyond my means although having spent nearly 20 years studying various fragments of the original and copies made in 1820 I would love to get my hands on it for a while.
