    Sinclair Ancient Colors--Clarification Please

I am suddenly on a weathered and ancient tartan binge (blame it on the fact that Autumn is not too far away). I just bought my latest kilt in MacKenzie Weathered, which I love, Love, LOVE--talk about adding some mileage to one's (Highland) wardrobe--and am now itching to pull the trigger on one of these:

With apologies to ASinclair, I'm wanting this one primarily because of what is clearly-according to the merchant's sample image--the bright orange color in the tartan. But is that actually bright orange or, as it appears in samples I've seen elsewhere online, more of a maroon-ish red or claret? Many thanks, gentlemen, for your guidance.
