Do I wear a kilt in Dorset?

I live just next door in Poole, and there are a few visitors who wear kilts. This weekend I went to the folk festival in Swanage - not far off - and there were several dancers and musicians in kilts, which caused no reaction at all.

If there are areas in which you'd not want to be wearing a kilt, then they would not really be areas many would want to be found in no matter what their clothing - your family should be able to advise.

I used to be Iin Dorset Ambulance, but I was based at Sherborne and tried to avoid Poole and Bournemouth not always very successfuly though, but I don't remember the bad areas. I left the service 10 years ago.
