Out on the town
Last Night, friends asked me to go with them to the halloween parade. As we crossed the bridge to town, the wind picked up. I thought "Oh great!" While my Stillwater kilt did wave in the breeze, it behaved itself. I never even though about needing my hands to hold it down.
While in town, I saw two friends. Dirk had no idea I would be in a kilt. But, He never even blinked. I guess that is what makes a true friend. I also saw Russ. He is somewhat responsible for me being Kilted. He talked about his family and that he was getting a kilt with his family tartan. So I decide that if he can wear a kilt, so can I.
After the parade, we walked around town for a bit and then went into a bar. As I sat down , I noticed the crowd ( older - not dressed for halloween). I thought someone would say something about my "skirt". But no one was interested. We had a drink and talked. I almost forgot I was wearing a kilt.
When I got home that night, I was tired from all the walking, but happy about the experience.
