Calf-high boots... lol. I'd PAY to be able to fit into calf-high boots. 19.5in around last I checked, and that's low for me. Before I lost 40-some pounds, I measured 21in.

My usual service life for shoes is three to six months (I weigh 260, so that's probably a factor)... that said, I've had my Footjoys for two months so far, and they show minimal sole wear and the uppers bend with my foot quite well. My father had his for ten years, and only needed two resoles. They are so far the only shoes I've actually liked, and not merely tolerated or hated the least.

They do appear to offer some sneaker/casual shoe styles with the MyJoys program, specifically the "Contour Casual" for $175... I'd wholeheartedly recommend taking a look at them. If they are as well-made as my Professional Shield Tip Spikeless, they will probably be a welcome departure from the norm. The only caveat I would offer is to measure and trace your foot, and email or call about what size you should take, as some of their styles fit a bit differently.
