Yes, no one can move you from tears to laughter quite like the great John Prine. I`ve seen him 3 or 4 times through the years, and he is always a special treat. Sam Stone is a classic.

I had to give up trying to perform Sam Stone; too many friends and relatives, too close to the bone, too
close to home. Voice would just quit in the middle.
