My wife's latest project
Last week Marite made me a tweed vest. This week she's working on a jacket to go with a skirt she made a few weeks ago. Cheviot charcoal tweed and our T-6 Black Dalgliesh tartan. I believe the plan is for gauntlet cuffs and black staghorn buttons, probably no epaulets. Still a lot of work to do, but it's coming along really nicely. It's a Burda pattern that we bought on line and downloaded. You print it out on a home printer, tape the pages together and you're ready to go, or modify it to meet your needs. Pretty slick. I wish I had the patience to do this sort of stuff, but I'm more of a 20' seams and 25 stitches per second kind of guy.
