Light bulb moment?

My single "ding" (the bell rang moment) was for cleaning my kilt and woolens (socks and caps) without the first thought, "which dry cleaner do I trust". That led to dying threads, repair of holes, etc.

I considered myself a frugal, do-it-yourself person, but some habits (that waste money unnecessarily) have gone by the way side since I joined the threads. Thanks to all of you.
