I've yet to see mention of the subject so I thought I would test the waters. In the event our new president is the one whose mother was from the Isle of Lewis and is himself 1/2 Scot, how can he be persuaded to attend the presidential inauguration and subsequent balls in formal highland attire. Perhaps the American National tartan, or his MacLeod family tartan for the balls. I would love to see the Kilt in the White House.
