wedding Master of Ceremonies kilted
Hello the rabble,
Quick question all thoughts welcome. I have been asked to be Master of ceremonies at a friends wedding. I have been a Director of Ceremonies at other Events But First time at a wedding. Whilst I am versed in the role itself, he has asked that I attend Kilted....he did not have to ask twice! The wedding party are in morning dress. I have decided not to go in my usual daywear tweed braemar although It would be correct to wear tweed for the day, as I have à formal role I thought the highland equivelant of morning dress ( black braemar, white Shirt, ghillie brogues, solid flashes, xmarks sgian dubh, clan cufflinks, dress sporran not full dress! And Lamont modern kilt) However Do I go neck tie as the majority will be in lounge suits or as I am Master of Ceremonies black tie (bow tie for those who get confused) a MC would normally be white tie. .y train of thought is that I WILL stand out enough in Kilt Do I really need black tie?
