Long time highlander, short time reader
I found this forum a short while back and thought I would give it a try. My kilted experience has been going on for what seems a lifetime both as a soldier and civilian in Canada and Scotland. I have been involved with the military pipeband world directly and indirectly for almost 30 years and have had the luck to play with some of the great players of the day. Wearing the kilt has always instilled a great pride in me, be it at Edinburgh castle, or at Stone Mountain GA. It is more than just an article of clothing, it is a direct line to the past celebrating both military and civilian heritage and events, triumphs and tragedies. Hopefully I can contribute and learn as member of the forum. Cheers
