    Kilt with a Waistband (huh?!)

    How common is it for a kilt to have a wide waistband like this:

    Label says it was made by R. Forsyth of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

    There are also buttons on it (fore and aft), presumably for suspenders (i.e. braces).
