Great-kilt folding attempt 3 - Ballarat Tartan, Australian National Tartan

    https://pushka.com/great-kilt

    The green-blue tartan is the Australian National Tartan - now made into a small-kilt ( https://pushka.com/kilt )

I had plans for the Ballarat tartan - but I'm not so sure about it all at the moment - so for now, it's a great-kilt ~ The first time I wore it - I also slept in it that night, so I can confirm that it's a great all-purpose outfit/ utility-material~

    ---

Australian National - The colours of the flag, 6 white stripes for the 6 stars, Southern-cross and Commonwealth-Federation-Star. Green & Gold - our national colours/ sporting colours - based on our national flower, the Golden-Wattle.
The colours of the Union Jack, and the 3 flag crosses/ colours. Black stripes for our Australian convict heritage and the Indigenous Aboriginal Peoples.

Ballarat, being a long-term gold-rush town, basalt, quarts and seam of gold.
It's also the place of the Eureka Stockade - Australia's only armed rebellion - and precursor to suffrage and democracy for Australians - Eureka Flag is deep blue with 5 white stars on top of a vertical-horizontal white cross (one of the stars in the middle) - each star has 7 points, representing the states/territories - the Commonwealth/Federation star ~
