Sorry Guys...hit the POST in wrong area...AGAIN...I've got to quit that....

A fun Day! About 6 weeks ago my wife told me that a co-worker of hers was getting married and we were invited. I didn't think too much about it but a few weeks later I found out it was going to be a traditional Mexican wedding mass. Well, I did question my wife about this. I had always intended to go kilted but she knew if this would be a problem with her co-worker. She said it wouldn't be and nothing else thought about it.

Today was the wedding and we went in the back way at the church because my wife wanted to see her co-worker. I felt a few looks (I was in formal dress). The next thing I know the priest walk up and offered his hand and said "How did a Scotsman come to be at a Mexican wedding?" He said it with a smile. I told him that my wife worked with the bride and I always go formal to church.

We talked a few more minutes and then he excused himself. As we took our seats I got a few smiles and knod's from the older couples there and just some recognition from the younger attendants. After a few minutes the newness rubbed off and everything went on.

Later at the reception we had a good time and the guy's in the mariache band seemed to enjoy me in the kilt and them in their traditionals.

In retospective we had a good time and the experience was fun I hope for everyone.

The only draw back was no single malt, only tequilla!
