    I have returned!

    Hello again from Ontario, Canada.

My name is Andy and I've been a member here before but it's been so long I don't even remember what I called myself let alone remember the password.

It's probably been at least 2 or 3 years I guess. Back then I was looking for recommendations on commercially produced kilts. I still haven't bought one. I'd like either a Utilikilt, or a Stumptown Kilt. (Can't bring myself to cough up that much money, plus exchange, plus duty)....There was another brand that caught my eye on Youtube. Also expensive.... Someone under the banner of "Adventure Kilt(s?)" was reviewing a bunch. I think the brand was 'Angry Bastard' Kilts. Reminds me of a beer I haven't opened since I bought it 2 Christmases ago.... maybe 3. It's called 'Kentucky Bastard'. I think it's a Russian Stout aged in Bourbon barrels.

Anyhow, I haven't bought any commercially produced kilts. The best I've done is supported the first Skirtcraft Kickstarter campaign. Got 2 skirts out of the deal. Tan and Black. They are ok as this is all I have at the moment.
I've got a pair of brown Hilfiger Cargo pants that I'm thinking of cutting off at the knee and making a quick and dirty skirt out of it. But what really brought me back here was to see some of the pics of X-kilts made by members. I've got a bolt of plain blue fabric I think would be suitable for use as a kilt. I'd like to maybe use a contrasting colour on the inset of the knife or box pleats. Maybe even a plaid inset. But for now I just have to get started and get this kilt going before summer passes me by.

Oh and last but not least... Hi all! and thanks for the add Steve!
