Good day all. My introduction to my self.
I first wore a kilt when I was 3 (at a couple of uncles’ weddings) and regained interest in my 30s
My collection has grown and includes:
- a tartan blanket sent from Scotland by family to family in the mid 1800s.
- 3 kilts (family sett in both modern and ancient colours plus nondescript plaid great kilt).
- 2 band kilts (yes still playing; GHB, Border & small pipes).
- day, evening (casual and formal) jackets, shirts and shoes depending on the occasion including home made and custom made accoutrements.
The Jedburgh moniker comes from a convoluted 1700s journey from the islands through the lowlands and borders to home here in Glengarry.
