    78th Fraser tartan

There are two Canadian pipe bands called the 78th Highlanders, the 78th Fraser Highlanders and the 78th Highlanders (Halifax Citadel).

The 78th Fraser Highlanders changed their tartan fairly recently. For many years they wore the Fraser in "Ancient" colours, which is AFAIK the same tartan worn by the 18th century re-enactors and musicians.

Here's their current tartan, which the descriptions I've heard infer that it was designed expressly for the band.

It doesn't seem quite the same as any of the tartans discussed here by Peter MacDonald

I think the Black Watch double-track motif is occurring in the red area, well sort of, it's in the centre of alternating red areas, but it's been pushed all the way to the borders of the other red areas, not having a red line separate it from the dark area so that it can be fully seen.
