I know Rob, I need a tartan bib to keep the drool off my new Kathy's Kilt traditional.

Already emailed her to see if she had enough of the tartan fabric left over for flashes and a vest.

Just got the Lord of the Isles today (my family is from the Staffin and Uig area of Skye) and already I'm back looking at my other clan tartans to see which is next on the wish list.

Another nice thing with Kathy Lare was NOT having to wonder what was gonna be wrong with the kilt when it showed up...buying Utilikilts has me coping with 11 week jones, hems coming out of my tan original, skipped stitches in the bottom of the outside pocket of my new workman's carmel, getting messed up on the website and ordering the wrong color leather kilt wihtout realizing it, and a bad snap that fell off of my new blue denim workman's. I've ordered six UKs and five have arrived with "problems." I'm still begging (3 calls now) UK HQ for a replacement snap after they said they'd send it a week ago.

I could have purchased four perfectly sewn traditional kilts for the money I spent on problems with UK...except, of course, I think I'd still get a UK leather, loving it in the cold weather.

But point is, with the traditional hand sewn from a lady trained by the Scots and a member of the kiltmaker's guild there was no worry and no hassle after delivery.

And, get this, Kathy only want's a 50% deposit to start ordering fabric from Scotland and sewing it up, the rest is paid when its done and she's ready to ship.

Special thanks to whoever first mentioned her on the board.
