Cousins from the auld land are visiting this season and we are tasting/imbibing/consuming Bunnahabhain Eirigh na Greine this evening (a few more yet to come, I am told). Definitely a duty-free malt from Islay, we all agree, and intended for the off-shore market. Having said that, we also agree that this is a good dram for the late afternoon and before the evening meal. It's a gentle Islay, in other words -- to be tried and added to your collection with a quarter of it's litre now given place here at An Cala.
