The Highlands and Islands Since 1800 -- Ewan Cameron (another by this fine historian)
Two books on my desk I haven't opened yet, but am looking forward to:
Scotland's Muslins -- Peter Hopkins
Viking Law and Order -- Alexander Sanmark.
