I wear a Farquharson fly plaid to about two black tie events a year where the extra bling is warranted and welcomed, rest of the year it hangs inside my jacket. However, as I decorate a newer home, I realize I could likely use it to add some heritage to my living room. Possibly draping it over a picture frame, a mirror, or finding a non-harmful way to hang it by itself? Has anyone else used a tartan material or a plaid in this manner when not being worn?
