Beware of cinema style seats
I dont want people to think I spend my life at concerts but...I was out at a Snow Patrol concert Thursday just gone and for the first time in a long time I had parked my bum on a cinema style seat. You know the thing...pops up when you leave. All was fine and ticketyboo until the time came to stand towards the end of the concert. I tend to go for standing areas only as Im not exactly Peter Popular when I stand in a seated venue. I wish more adults had eaten their greens as a kid or stood in a gro-bag for longer so I dont tower over everyone. Any road oop as I attempted to stand upon my aged legs I found unable to...partly due to the fact that the back of the seat had trapped my kilt and partly cos the guy behind was standing on the hem of it. A deliberate deed I am convinced. I was pinned down and forced to listen to the last three songs whilst forced to look at the bums and legs of those in front of me. Sigh...it nearly made me rethink my dress code for seated venues. (as if) Take heed of the warning though.... always ensure you have a good tuck down under.....no, I said tuck.
