Thanks. I didn't specify either because I did not understand the options. 
Now, although I have come away from the 'Chat' Section, I am still periodically getting the disembodied voice greeting me whilst I am reading the postings!! :x
I'll bet it's all down to me - I've never used a 'Chat' facility on line before (and it doesn't look is if I'm going to now!!)
