Gentlemen,
As always a wealth of knowledge and thank you for sharing, I have felt that there was some credence to the colors of tartan (different regions having access to different colors and clans choosing colors to represent themselves) but I have always been hesitant to truly believe there is more to the patterns than there is. With the information you have provided, it just confirms my suspicion and now I can put that issue to rest. Thank you.
Jimmy – I am very interested to check out the books you have. We will have to hook up at the next set of gigs. I know I won’t be able to help with the college tour gigs this year but I will be around for the most of the others, schedule permitting.
Matt – I will be in your area soon on business. We will have to hook up I am very interested in visiting the museum.
Alan – I always gringe when people talk about Braveheart. The entire movie, while entertaining (the battle scenes are cool), is historically and musically *****. The sad part is that the screenwriter, Randall Wallace, who claims to be a descendant of William Wallace, did this great story absolutely no justice and unfortunately too many people rely on the movies and TV for their historical knowledge.
