A sporran on the side...
I was thinking about sporrans today, and how they're simply pockets for kilts that have none. Now, we have non-traditional kilts, but what about non-traditional sporrans?
I thought, "What about wearing a sporran more to the side than just straight in front?" Then wondered about the possibility of a 'double sporran' - perhaps a main sporran in front and then higher up on the belt/strap to one side a smaller sporran or pouch?
There's really no limit to the possibilities, na dif one wanted to wear a traditional kilt, you could still maintain a traditional style to the design whilst changing the basic layout.
Perhaps like a utility-belt or carrier-belt. Increased day-to-day options for the modern day-to-day kilt wearer.
