Again... I can't stress enough teh quality for the price of the Buzz Kidder sporrans. With Freelander, they're the absolute BEST value in sporrans.
I second Jimmy's reccomendation. Buzz's sporrans are made well, of good quality leather that is thick, yet soft, and have a much larger holding capacity than any Scottish import sporran I have seen.
And, for the money, they are an excellent value. These are the sporrans that we keep stocked on our gift shop shelves. The more expensive dress or semi-dress sporrans you see listed on our web site are typically ordered on an as-need basis (though we like to keep a couple in stock for display).

The reason is that we easily sell 10 of Buzz's sporrans for every one of the others.
I wear a kilt nearly every day (every day I am at work, anyway), and for daily wear I have a Buzz Kidder brown rob roy style. I can't tell you how long I've had it, but it's been a while. Still wears great. It's what I'm wearing in the picture on my web site:

All I've done with it is added a crest badge to the front flap, which I did simply by pinning it through the leather.
I wear a brown one because I have another hair-sporran I use for formal wear. If I didn't, I'd probably wear a black one and use it for both formal and informal occasions.
Personally, I favor simpler designs, nothing over-the-top or too fancy. So these sporrans fit the bill.
Aye,
Matt
