thought i'd share
ahh, reading a (somewhat unorthodox, yet mildly amusing) summary of shakespeare's macbeth, and i come across an anecdote that made me chuckle a bit on the inside; thought i'd share it. they're talking about the scene in which lady macbeth is convincing macbeth to kill the king:
"Macbeth gives in remarkably easily for a rock-hard highlander - they're meant to be able to crack rocks in their sporrans. Or something. Mind you, that "dashing the brains out" image is enough to make anyone lose their lunch, even a caber-tossing, bagpipe-blowing, claymore-swinging nutter in a skirt."
haha, that's us, in a nutshell. the link is http://sunflower.singnet.com.sg/~yis...es/macbeth.htm, if anyone cares. cheers all.
