Flying while kilted.
Has anyone had a recent experience of flying while kilted. I was wondering how the good people of the TSA deal with kilted men. I gather that you have to send your sporan through the Xray machine and of course you could not take your sgian dubh. But what else? Do they just pass a metal detector wand up and down the front and back of your body?
I know that a man in a kilt should be treated the same way as a woman in a skirt, but are we? Just asking, I don't have any imediate travel plans. I will be taking one of my UKs to belize this summer, but I probably won't wear it on the plane - too much metal with all the buttons.
