Unfortunaely I see this happen all to often. I much as I appreciate the attempt, it is something that needs to be corrected. I think the worst case I saw of this was a guy who looked like he went a bought a checkered table cloth, like the ones you would see at an Italian restaurant, had his wife sew so pleats into it and strapped it on and it was on backwards too boot.
