Sporran Facelift Project...
This is my first attempt at dropping a photo into a post.
This used to be a plain black leather sporran. I've wanted to get a set of brown leather kit for a while now and decided to do this 'on the cheap'! Anyway, I spray painted the sporran with a flat brown BBQ paint then let it dry for a couple of days. Then "antiqued" it by brushing on and then polishing with black shoe polish. It will need to be well dried and rubbed to make sure nothing rubs off on the kilt.
The strap is a re-built dog leash and the kilt pin was custom turned from coco-bolo. Now all I need is a 2-1/4" brown belt and brass buckle.
