What's Going On
At the foot of the main forums page is a section titled "What's Going On'. I got a shock when I looked at it today, as I read the following: "Most users ever online was 154 Today at 06.20AM". This number is far greater than there has ever been before, so I wondered to myself "What's going on?" I then got another shock when I read "Currently Active users 118 (3 members and 115 guests)". Now there have always been 'guests' (otherwise known as lurkers), but never anything like that number.
It would seem to me that there are three possible explanations for this strange phenomenon:-
1. A sudden huge increase in the numbers of men (or boys) interested in kilts.
2. Lots of women have suddenly become interested in men in kilts.
3. The site counter has gone haywire.
I would like to believe the first or second explanation, but I suspect that the third explanation is nearer the mark.
WHAT'S GOING ON?
Rob (who is puzzled)
