Now it can be told!
Whilst on my recent visit to Vancouver for The Gathering, we went over to Victoria for a day (Not long enough. Must return) and whilst the others went whale watching, Steve gave me a personally conducted tour of the city explaining its history as we went. The arrangement had been made that everyone would meet up later in the day at the Freedom Kilts premises and so it was but, before the rest of the group arrived, I had ordered a Freedom Kilt for myself and had been carefully measured for it by Steve.
Having seen at first hand the detail and the craft that Steve puts into his kilts, I am quite prepared to wait (I think until November) for mine to arrive. The wait will be difficult, but bearable in the knowledge that I will be receiving a truly first class garment and one that I will be proud to wear.
And so a Freedom Kilt is to be added to 'The Kilt Kollection' ........
